Apollo 16, Launch- 40 years ago

Apollo 16 was launched 40 years ago today. I was a space-crazed 8th grader. Here is a small piece that I wrote about it:

Thanks. And I even learned something in my research. I had no idea that the individual S-I-C retros produced that much thrust. But I checked 4 different sources and found the value to be pretty much the same.

One very good element of writing is the details you learn that you might have ignored earlier or didn't retain. Same applies to writing captions for images.

That staging fireball happened for a good reason.

I didn't learn about it until recently myself.  ;D
