Got a Droid? Point your browser at http://mobile.nasa.gov & try out new Droid NASA TV feed at the top of the page. http://go.nasa.gov/mT542W
Was just gonna post that. Was majorly disappointed that they just released that now instead of last launch when I was at the launch.

Looks great on my EVO.
Same on my Ally. So for the most part it should work for almost all Android phones.

Pete try the education feed:

http://www.nasa.gov/145588main_Digital_Edu.asx

A-ha - that works! Bitrate is 143 Kbps. Thanks Ron for coming to my rescue! :)

Uh-oh - the education channel has just cut to another program. Will have to go with the media channel. Bloody Royal Wedding - I knew it'd mess things up somehow!

FWIW, I see C-SPAN has picked up the NASA TV feed.

The Android NASA TV link has been broken for a week, I finally found someone at HQ responsible and they are hopefully going to get that fixed by the weekend. SPB app still works though in the meantime.

Maybe worth noting for Europeans, If you have bad internet ESA TV will be broadcasting the launch and mission day highlights live on their satellite feed:

Do you think George Diller should sound a bit more enthusiastic during the countdown?

I agree; the event itself supplies all the drama needed.  Diller's calm, informative explanations are great.  It's a pleasure that he does not babble when there's nothing to say.

Has anyone had luck appealing to their local cable for NASA TV? (ours doesn’t carry it.)
I’m sure the request will go in the circular file but thought I’d give it a try.

Local cable isn’t charged to carry it correct?

I seem to be unable to reach the normal NASA TV web page.  It also seems that other hosted NASA web sites(Curiosity) are not responding.  Has anyone else experienced this?

I can get to the sites now.  It must have been some sort of connectivity issue between Verizon and the NASA content provider.  I was able to get NASA TV without problem from the ustream site.
