What will the objectives of the Russian EVA-26 and 27 be?

Mainly scientific objectives. Removal and installation of different scientific equipment. For example, Expose-R removal, possible work with Rokviss and IPI-SM equipment, Biorisk-MSN installation. Also, launch of ARISSat-1 satellite. Possibly there will be one spacewalk, instead of two.

According to http://www.spaceflightnow.com/shuttle/sts131/100405launch/
Kirk Shireman said that this year the space station program expects "six station-based spacewalks above and beyond the EVAs planned by visiting shuttle crews."

Is that a mistake, because there are only 5 station-based EVAs listed in this schedule.

I think, one was done and five are planned, thatīs why six is o.k. for 2010.

December 15 - Progress M-07M undocking (from Zvezda)
December 17 - ATV-2 "Johannes Kepler" docking (to Zvezda)

Then why launch it almost 3 weeks in advance? Is there an advantage in having it in orbit for a longer period?

Nov 30 for ATV-2 is a NET and is not very realistic as an actual launch date. Dec 17 docking sounds realistic. I think may be the launch date has been rescheduled? At least unofficially.

Actually being ready by Nov 30 is very releastic.  The issue is that is has severa constraints on when it can dock.  The docking window opens around Dec 15.  The actual launch date will be negotiated around August.  it is a combination of factors such as when Arianspace can launch and when ISS can accept (docking window plus other traffic).  Ideally, the parking orbit time will be avoided or minimized.  But if say they can only launch Dec 5, then they have to part until at least the 15th.
