edkyle99 - 5/10/2006 1:48 PMThere are only two R-7/Soyuz pads at Baikonur. Site 1/Pad 5 is the Gagarin pad usually used for crewed launches. Site 31/Pad 6 is the second pad, located several miles east of Site 1. The latter pad is used for Starsem launches, among others. - Ed Kyle
Ben - 5/10/2006 6:31 PMThey have not used the same one for every launch. Thirteen launches took place off LC-31, the rest off LC-1 (which was the Sputnik/Gagarin pad).
