There is a chance of rain for KSC. I take it if they don't use KSC, they will go to Edwards, rather than wait on orbit for tomorrow?

No. If they can't make KSC today, they will wave off until tomorrow, and then bring up Edwards and perhaps White Sands.

Only trying KSC today, mainly because EAFB looks good for tomorrow and Wednesday.

There is also a concern about showers, but controllers are told they will evaporate away. Getting close to decision time.

No go for the first attempt due to the low cloud.

Ah, NZ tv news, so crap.

"Just moments ago Nasa gave the final all-clear for Discovery to re-enter the Earth's atmosphere"

The current forecast is that the low cloud will dissipate in time for the second attempt.

Hopes are high the clouds will clear. Decision coming. We had an issue with a flight software upload, one that would affect the OMS burn, but we have that sorted now.
