I read in the Space Review and some other news sites that M-62 could carry some small 'instruments or replacements' for the eventual SARJ repair. Any confirmation on this?

Actually is a page talking about the launch preparations of Radarsat-2, Progress M-62 and the three GLONASS sats.

The second paragraph is about the Progress M-62 preparations: (AltaVista - Babel Fish translation): "Aboard the cargo transport ship "Progress-m62" is conducted the control gating of solar batteries and final procedures on checking of radio systems. Starting is planned on 23 December. "progress" must deliver on S the necessary equipment, expendable materials, levels of oxygen and subsistence, and also traditional new-year gifts for the crew members, for which one must greet 2008 in orbit."
