Want to let everyone know that Iím retiring from ULA at the end of the week. Been a privilege to be part of such an amazing team.🚀

Tory Bruno had some nice words to say:

You have made enormous contributions, not just to ULA, but to all of Space exploration, across a 30+yr career. Fair winds and following seas

Will there be implications for Vulcan/ACES/future NSF Q&As?

I remain committed to the vision of human expansion into space and the cislunar marketplace. ULA and #ACES will play a key role.

Sad to see him go.
George was my first boss when I hired in to work on the Atlas V development program.

Was a member here back when we were just little. He's done lots of great Q&As here, before AMA and Snapchat were a thing.

Enjoy your retirement George!

I hope George chooses to still post here from time to time, always enjoy Dr. Sowers' contributions.

Hope it's a happy and long retirement...

Well that's certainly bittersweet news, but certainly well deserved!  Glad to hear he's not going to be entirely out of the game, as well.

Big news for me. I am joining the faculty of @coschoolofmines as a Professor in the new Space Resources program. I'm super excited!  👍👍
