Due to safety restrictions in place for the Delta IV WGS-08 mission, 45th Space Wing Public Affairs is not hosting any media viewing activities on CCAFS in support of this launch.

Public safety is a matter we take extremely seriously and for this launch, our safety experts have determined that our ITL media launch viewing location falls within the restricted Flight Caution Area.  Therefore, media interested in covering the launch must do so from an off-base location.

ULA's website says launch window is 6:53 - 7:42 PM EST, while others say it starts at 6:52. Any idea where the discrepancy arises?

T-1 hour, 20 minutes. The second stage LOX topping has started. With that, the fueling operations are nearing completion.

We're also one hour from the beginning of the ULA webcast.

T-1 hour, 10 minutes. The Flight Termination System checks have begun. This is a self-destruct system hidden inside the launch vehicle to detonate it should a launch contingency occur.
