It took a while to find an acceptable replacement for the way I generated the ISS audio files after they removed the audio-only livestream. I'm still not convinced that my workaround will work around ;) but so far so good. All ISS transmissions in 15-minute chunks with no dead space are archived at http://issaudio.byethost7.com/iss/?C=N;O=D

I'll need to work a little more on the volume, but they don't talk much on the weekends so that may take a few days.

The audio is slightly choppy because this is an OLD laptop and it struggles a little with trying to play video... but it's not too bad (and unless someone wants to donate a newer laptop it's the best we can do :) )

It seems my laptop doesn't like 24/7 livestreaming ;) I'll try rebooting it daily to see if that helps.

My laptop couldn't handle it. I'll try with a Raspberry Pi after the holidays.

A little slice of Raspberry Pi and help from a few others before me who developed some recording scripts, and only one time I wanted to throw it across the room, and now we have the "new and improved" ISS audio archive up and running! It no longer sends up empty files, the recording start/stop is much cleaner, and it runs on a machine that uses about $2 of electricity per year versus $50 (and was so old it couldn't keep up anyways :) ) Enjoy!

Bump for those asking about the ISS DPC's I've been posting.
