These past and next few days have/will be ECLSS chaos!

The Russian Vozdukh CO2 removal system in the SM has been R&Rd, and so has the CDRA bed in the ARS rack in Node 3.

Tomorrow, we've got the CDRA bed R&R in the Lab ARS rack.

We've also got the OGA Hydrogen dome R&R in the OGS rack in Node 3, plus the Russian Elektron O2 generator in the SM might need to be R&Rd!

Fun times! :)

Geee...you'd think these highly-trained astronauts wouldn't be so sensitive to such minor details as being able to breath, wouldn't you?  :)

ISS Flight Director Update (as best as I can type it out..:) )

Module very messy currently - Lots of material being torn down and moved - more cleaning up tomorrow -

Express rack 8 open for business in US lab -

CO2 update - the Vozdukh failed and is still down, Still planning to move ahead on work on the CDRA in the US lab today. looking for a short in one of the heater wires. once found will snip out the defective wire. Will operate bed on secondary heater moving forward

O2 update - OGA not running well due to slightly acidic water causing clogs in the system - adding a filter today to try to make it less acidic.

Extra flight controllers will be on duty today due to the amount of work going on station today...

While maintenance is ongoing there will be some science work planned as well

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened. -- Douglas Adams

Possibly.  He has been the Capcom for Orbit 3 during STS-133.

Oh for pity's sake, that's two for two on wake up call mistakes from me now :D (I blame Twitter RTs which are out of date).

I'll simply get it over with and make it the hat trick now by pre-empting that FD11's wake up call as something from Lady Gaga ;)
