Astronaut Chris Hadfield - Canadian Astronaut
« on: 12/31/2014 02:27 am »
A great book I just read is - An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth by Col. Chris Hadfield.
Chris set out to be an astronaut when he was 9 years old.  He became a fighter pilot / test pilot.
He applied to be a Canadian Astronaut along with 5200 other people and was 1 of 6 selected.  Three Space  flights, an EVA, and he commanded the ISS.  He said it was simply unbelievable.  It was also very, very hard,
but worth it without question.

Just for fun, I also include a picture of Buzz inside the Lunar Module, what it really looked like.
