This is great. I've always wanted access to L2, but couldn't justify the cost at this point.

Hey guys. What a brilliant offer to help us yet to get out there in the earning world for a leg up! Obviously a very good group of people here!

You're scholarship 13 of 26. Your sponsor is nyquist.

I think the process was opened with 18 scholarships available.  Now that 13 have applied, we still have 13 available.  It's encouraging that the number of new scholarships available is almost keeping up with applicants.  I hope the site's membership can sustain such a commitment.

EDIT:  And as I was posting both incremented by one.  Nice!

Oh wow, I'm glad I saw this linked on the latest news article. I read this site a lot and have always wanted L2, but I just can't spend any money on internet things. I would L2 if I could! So thankful for this and glad I noticed it before the scholarships ran out!

Thanks Chris! Thanks sponsors!

EMPaul, Electrical Engineering at Embry-Riddle, want to work for SpaceX wiring up their Dragons at the Cape! ;D

I just want to say that this site is brilliant--I've spent a lot of time lurking here since high school, and I think I can safely say that this is the best spaceflight news site in existence.  Thank you Mr. Bergin and the good people of NASASpaceFlight.com for making this fantastic resource available to us!

Hello Chris,
So good to see the NSF student scholarship program making the forum today!
I am already a registered NSF forum user.
My user name is AS-503, a homage to the flight of Apollo 8.
As many of you know already, the "AS" is for Apollo Saturn, the "5" is for Saturn V, and the "03" denotes the 3rd flight of the Saturn V.
Apollo 11, for example, was AS-506 (Google it).

Similiar to the origins of this website, I too was drawn into space flight by the RTF mission of STS-114.
As an electrical engineering student, I would like to be part of the L2 community!

Thanks so much for this oppurtunity, I'll PM you the other details!

mark

This would be so helpful to me, providing women are allowed? ;)

My username is MandyL and I'm in my second year with Aerospace Engineering at University of Liverpool.

Thank you so very much if I qualify for the scholarship!
