I figured this was the best place to post this, but I have a question about the Interim Control Module and the (defunct) Propulsion Module.  In the wake of the Russian computer issues, if they can't be solved or re-occur would launching the ICM and a crash program to develop (re-develop) the Propulsion Module be implemented?  Is the ICM actually complete and in storage as Wikipedia states?

There is no need for either of them and the ICM would interfere with progress, ATV and soyuz dockings.

There is an ISS Q&A

Any updates on Node 2 Harmony processing? We will be seeing that laucnhed very soon now in October onboard Discovery...

On a slightly different topic, will the payload stand that is being used for Node 2 be used for Node 3 in the future? - And also, any news/updates on when this module is actually coming to KSC from Alenia? (on the Beluga I would presume)

Thanks

Looks like they're getting ready to move Columbus.

Anyone have any more info on what they are doing?

Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast!

I saw the crane moving across there yesterday. They could just be weighing it...

Looks like they've taken off the upper half of the processing 'shell'...

Or they may have just been verifying the balance setup for the lift device.

More crane movements near Columbus!

EDIT: Hmmm, it went up for about 20cm, they fiddled with the attachements and then it came down again.

Probably as noted in the shuttle processing thread.

The elements were tracking for earlier launches before the hailstorm that delayed ISS-13A/STS-117.  Rather than being an interruption to that work, the delay likely gave the processing team more schedule room to work with.  Before the hailstorm, Node 2 was scheduled to launch in this timeframe (early August) and it would already be in the orbiter at the pad.

Don't think so, not for awhile yet. They're still working on the payload bay pallet. My guess is they won't be complete with the full integrated checks and tests until early next year.

I can't seem to access the KSC SSPF video feeds. Does anyone have the same problem at the moment?

I've worked out the problem. I'm in the UK and so as the site's in the USA, I can't access it at peak times. So the best time for me is in the morning or midday when there are less americans and brits hogging the internet! :)
