After the flat cover is removed from the zenith hatch it will be stowed at the nadir hatch, over the one already in place there.

Crew Performing “Internal” Spacewalk

Expedition 20 Commander Gennady Padalka and Flight Engineer Michael Barratt began an “internal” spacewalk at 2:55 a.m. EDT.

Padalka and Barratt are replacing a Zvezda hatch with a docking cone. The excursion is taking place internally with the spacewalkers attached to umbilicals in Zvezda for life support. It is scheduled to last about 37 minutes.

Docking antennas, a docking target and electrical connectors were installed on the exterior of the Zvezda service module during their first spacewalk Friday.
