I'll even excitedly look forward to "flags and footprints" and suborbital missions. Just fly...somewhere.

This final episode of "The Tundra Endeavour" series of videos, from Toyota, was released a few days ago.  I just found it tonight. This last episode summarizes of the entire project plus some additional shots of the flyover, the transport and additional views for the Tundra pull over the 405-freeway.

Watch as the Space Shuttle Endeavour is paraded through the streets of Los Angeles and towed over the 405 freeway by a stock Toyota Tundra.

How much longer will the public be able to walk under her?  In other words, how soon do I need to complete my vacation planning?
I flew on SOFIA four times.

Endeavour will stay in her current lodgings for at least three years; perhaps longer if the new building gets delayed.

Watching that video made me realize how ironic it is how L.A could get her from the Airport to the Science Center with some of the toughest challenges and through the tightest spaces, without a scratch, and New York couldnt even get Enterprise through a bridge without her getting a chuck taken out of her. Sad really.

I havent seen that yet, funny thing is last night I was thinking about that wondering why they haven't put one out yet seeing as that is a huge publicity thing for the truck.

The boosters are the ones that were formerly displayed at the KSC Visitor Center.

The ET will be built by a company in California.

The commercial popped up last weekend during a NASCAR race. It always stops me still in my tracks... Thanks for posting the video! :)

Yes. I actually paid $8.25 (plus a $2 online service fee) for the Endeavour/IMAX combo since I ended up watching Hubble 3D after visiting OV-105.  ;D

Allas Toyota made a commercial about the truck towing Endeavor. But pretty cool to see the HD video of Endeavor including a  quick video from orbit. Will post if I see it on youtube.

The Stanley Cup made its way to the Samuel Oschin Pavilion recently... Too bad it looks like the L.A. Kings won't be able to defend its title this season  :P

The LA Times posted this time lapse video of Endeavour's street journey to the California Science Center.  It is worth looking at.
