It appears that these guys are investing in the Sea Launch ships, with Art Dula's address referenced in the bankruptcy filings and as posted by McDew here: http://forum.nasaspaceflight.com/index.php?topic=17586.msg501977#msg501977Does this mean that they're going to launch these capsules on a Zenit or refurb the platform for another vehicle?
My group’s primary project was to create a CAD (computer-aided design) model of the Almaz capsule, and then outfit a mock-up of the capsule (a constructed replica of the spacecraft) with models of the equipment that would be used during spaceflight. This allowed us to get a sense of how much space was available, and how items and equipment might be arranged inside the spacecraft.
There has always been confusion regarding Art Dula's use of the term "Almaz" to cover both the space station modules and the landing vehicle that his company is currently marketing. In this case, it appears that two of the remaining Salyut-class base modules in storage at NPO Mash have been shipped to the Island of Man for some reason.
Any chance of photos? I am curious about this odd-man out.
