From 12 to 14 October 2010 a delegation of Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos), representatives of the space industry and scientific institutions of the Russian Federation to the Ukrainian National Center for control and testing of space vehicles (NCSVCT), located near the city of Evpatoria in Crimea.

The delegation was led by Head of Russian Federal Space Agency AN Perminov.
The Russian delegation familiarized with the possibilities NCSVCT for his participation in future international space projects, including those implemented in the framework of the Russian Federal Space Program. Head of Russian Federal Space Agency AN Perminov praised the state of readiness of hardware NCSVCT and level of training its employees.

October 13, 2010 under the chairmanship of the Russian Space Agency and NSAU AN Perminov and YS Alexeyev held the eighth meeting of the Subcommission on cooperation in space industry of the Committee on Economic Cooperation of the Russian-Ukrainian interstate commission.
At the meeting of the Sub-Commission summarized the implementation of previous agreements and discussed: the priority project a unified position-time support of Russia and Ukraine on the basis of the Russian Global Navigation Satellite System GLONASS cooperation for the implementation of scientific experiments aboard the Russian segment of ISS, conducting basic scientific research and remote sensing , sharing resources NCSVCT.
According to the results of the meeting signed a protocol, which includes activities to further develop cooperation in the above areas and instructed to work out the preparation of a Ukrainian astronaut to fly into space on Russian spacecraft and its involvement in long-term work on the Russian segment of ISS. Also, the Protocol provides for joint activities for the celebration in Russia and in Ukraine 50 years of space flight YA Gagarin.

Russia, Ukraine may Send Ukrainian Cosmonaut to ISS.

Russia and Ukraine have agreed that they may send a Ukrainian cosmonaut on a Russian spaceship to participate in long-term operations on the Russian segment of the International Space Station (ISS), Roscosmos Head Anatoly Perminov told news media.
According to him, it was Ukrainian proposal which implies training of national cosmonauts in Roscosmos’ Gagarin Training Center. However, the ‘costly’ initiative still has to be discussed with the ISS international partners, Perminov stated.
The Ukrainian National Space Agency will also work through all the aspects of the project, which haven't been specified at the current stage.
