Up to T-4 minutes working some boats in the exclusion area. Then parameter went out of bounds. Didn't have time to resolve issue. Launch time is 1:47:02 PST with a 66 second window if I heard right.

Was out at SLC-2W again for tower rollback for the second launch attempt of the Delta II carrying JPSS-1. As always the Delta II is a beautiful vehicle, but the star this evening was the technicolor sky as high altitude cirrus caught the sunset and painted the sky with a vibrancy a master impressionist could never hope to match. Each passing moment as the sun dipped lower toward and below the horizon the clouds took on changing hues and patterns that made the evening unforgettable, highlighting the Delta II in grandeur. When the marine layer decides to hold off, we get some amazing light out here.

I may have gone a bit overboard shooting tonight, but this was the most spectacular sunset rocket porn I've seen out here in 20 years of being associated with Vandenberg. :)

Updated launch weather forecast is 80% GO:

Quote
T-0 Forecast: A broad trough of low pressure remains over the eastern pacific. The passage of the previous day’s trough resulted in a loosening of the pressure gradient. Therefore, surface winds will be out of the north-northwest from 330-360 at 10-15 knots gusting to 20 knots at T-0. Temperatures will range from 50-55F through the count and at T-0. Upper level winds will increase slightly out of the west from 250 degrees at 125 knots between 35,000 and 40,000 feet. The space weather index for Proton Flux is at background levels. The overall POV for Wednesday is 20% with the only area of concern being Ground Winds greater than or equal to 26 knots.

Thanks. The guy says "it will start one second later at 9:43:03". Presumably he meant 9:47:03 EST (1:47:03 UTC).
