based on some talks there most likely will not be a fourth Kosmos on this flight but probably next since there is an unflown payload at the MIK

Briz-KM originally manufactured to launch Kanopus-V-IK, since moved to Soyuz-2-1A.
Is № 72526 for a Kanopus satelite?
No, Gonets.

So the fifth digit of the serial number indicates that the batch production date of this rocket was 1989?

Is the unflown payload DOSAAF-85?  Given the previous Gonets-M triplet launch last year, it appears that it was scheduled to launch with that set, but then not.  Link to topic below:

If DOSAAF-85 doesn't launch on this flight, then when?

Curious,

Its launch can occur on any flight that aligns with its predecessor SC's, its just a matter of being made ready for a launch instead of overrunning on processing. there is 50% chance it will be launched otherwise ballast will be in its place on the launcher.

Looks like this launch is almost certain to slip past tomorrow due to "unspecified technical reasons": http://www.militarynews.ru/story.asp?rid=1&nid=368274

According to http://tass.ru/kosmos/1806760 it's a first stage engine problem that needs inspection. The rocket was rolled back to the HIF.

I wonder if this is related to what seems to be a UR-100N failure during a hypersonic reentry test launched from Dombarovskiy on February 26?
