I have not posted in a long time but I have just got to say just how astounded I am at how eager and how quickly the crew is going through this process.

2 hours behind yesterday now two ahead!

NASA TV reports they will spend about 20 mins letting the air mix before they can remove the safety mask and goggles and start their activities.

Some screen caps.

Missed the one where Don was installing the hose and removing the end cap to give to Andre.

IMV install complete. Waiting 20 minutes.

Don: we think it's safe to remove dustmasks. Remind of back of pickup. Smells like brand new car.

Don calls down there was no sign of FOD inside the Dragon module.  Wants to take masks off.  "The smell inside smells like a new car."

Megan calls up that any time they are in Node 2 or inside Dragon, they need to wear the dust masks for the 45 minute period per the flight rules, and a 20 minute wait period before they can go back inside Dragon.

Don: PPRE cap removed and installed while in Dragon.

Also asked about storage of tube (of air?) in Columbus in cold storage bag.

H: Cycle Link1 and 2 on CUCU 3 for Andre.

Don calls down asking if they could still do the closeout work, Megan says another 16 minutes before they can go back in at all.

Just heard someone speak in russian about something that broke down...
In Russian it - (Google translation)
"It was a surprise. Cork stuck in the device for sampling air. Nut turned away, but the сork was left inside the tube. I pulled the plug with forceps."  :)

It is funny. They were constantly reminding them to stay out of Dragon for the 20 min period.

It is like a parent trying to keep kids from shaking the x-mas presents!

Footage of CUCU CCP from cupula on Berthing day.

Or like something you've trained months and months for, and the day is finally here.. and you're just excited and ready to go.

EDIT: FYI, NASA TV is replaying HD footage from yesterday while we wait for the 20 minute time span to pass and we can see some action in/around Dragon.

Don just got his GO to proceed back to the worklist.  Must keep their dust masks on, though, for another 25ish minutes.

Live shot on orbit.

Thanks for covering Rex and Steven! Had to rush to the barracks and thought I'd get back in time to see this, but they are way ahead of the timeline.

So I used the live update thread as others do! :) And they just showed the video of it again too.
