Meta starliner question
« on: 01/15/2016 12:31 am »
So,  this may come off as a little Meta...

But the header for this section is US launche vehicles.  Starliner is not a launch vehicle.  Wouldn't it make more sense to put this in the ISS section, or something akin to that???
It's not democrats vs republicans, it's reality vs innumerate space cadet fantasy.

Just rename the section "US Launch Vehicles and Spacecraft".

Maybe the idea is that since it launches on a US launch vehicle it belongs in this section.

The flip side is you could put it with the ISS and In-space hardware, and call that section Space Ships and Space Stations

The Dreamchaser would fit there as well.......

I think the commercial space ships have more affinity with commercial launchers because they're all done by private US companies.  In fact, in some cases (SpaceX, OrbitalATK, and Blue Origin) its the same company doing the space ship and the launcher.

Like the Bigelow threads in the In-Space Hardware section?
