« on: 12/07/2013 12:08 pm »

The HP-41CVs that were flown had a TIME MODULE and an EXTENDED MEMORY/FUNCTIONS module plugged in. They removed the rubber feet and put velcro squares on the bottom and glued the unused port doors shut. ON STS-1 I belive, they used 3 programs CG (Center of Gravity Calculator), AOS/LOS (calculated times based on state vector), and DEORBIT (gave next contingency deorbit time with estimated burn time).

I still have my HP-41CV as well with those modules ;)  RPN is the greatest theft prevention to having your calculator being taken by the muggles, lol.
