I wonder where GOES-U is in assembly, I'd say probably beginning basic frame construction, and instrument construction.

The satellite’s arrival at the Florida spaceport, followed by its move into the Astrotech Space Operations processing facility in nearby Titusville, signal the start of the final journey to T-zero. GOES-S is slated to launch aboard a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.
